Act Two P1

(Our protagonist steps onto the stage with black spots all over his body)

Narrator:

Susan is an ordinary puppet, with a lot of black spot stickers on her. The stickers sadden and depress her. Sometimes she even feels as if she was isolated from the rest of the World, rejected, unwanted, abandoned and all alone.

(While the narrator introduces Susan, the character should take her position on stage)

Susan:

(walk slowly, and look downcast) *sigh*..... Why does everyone stick black spotted stickers onto me? Am I really that bad a person (frustrated)? When they put stickers on me, it seems like it’s only the right thing to do (confused, outraged)! What can I do? There must be a way for me to lose these stickers.

(Puppet E comes onto the stage)

Puppet E:

Hey Susan! (Sticks a black spotted sticker on Susan while talking)

Susan:

(offended) Why did you put that sticker on me?

Puppet E:

Because I dislike the colour of your paint! (Leave stage when finished line)

(Puppet F comes on stage)

Susan:

Have you come to put a black spotted sticker on me like the last person?

Puppet F:

You got that right!

Susan:

May I ask why?

Puppet F:

You don’t have any stars on your body anyway! Might as well add more black spotted stickers, suits you! (Puts a sticker on Susan before the character is finished the line)

(Puppet G comes on stage)

Susan:

(very annoyed at this point) Let me guess, you are here to add to the grand collection of the black spots on my body? (Sarcastic and cynical)

Puppet G:

… (Pretends to think)

Puppet G:

Let me think... Oh! Because it is the COOL thing to do these days!

Susan:

..........I.... ... Hold on a Se..c...ond!..  (Puppet G sticks a black spotted sticker onto Susan and leaves her)

Puppet F:

He deserves every black sticker on him. He has definitely EARNED it! Hahahaha!

Puppet G:

Yeah, it’s because he’s a horrible puppet!

(F + G leaves stage)

Susan:

(hands in pocket, crestfallen appearance) Yeah.... I... Who am I kidding!? They’re right… I am horrible................
